The Love of God Poured Out into Our Hearts

Explaining Paul's Gospel in Romans 5:1–5 and the Promise of Deuteronomy

This past Sunday, I was asked to speak on Romans 5:1–5. This is a packed passage, so my approach was to unpack it a little at a time working through the key concepts of "justification by faith," "works of law," "grace," "the glory of God," and how "the love of God poured out in our hearts" (5:5) connects to the promises of Deuteronomy.
